When I first started working with Jim of Strains of the Earth in 2020, he was a one-man operation selling CBD products out of a space in his basement. As of 2025, he is one of the largest dispensaries in the state of Minnesota with multiple locations. I'm happy to have been a part of that journey by developing some killer branding and packaging for Strains of the Earth, and packaging featuring original artwork for their wholesale brand, Nebula (featured below). Jim and his amazing staff gave me an idea and a name - outer space themed, Nebula - and complete creative freedom. I designed and digitally painted an interplanetary explorer and their spaceship, and three distinct worlds for them to live in on various categories of packaging.
